Question: What is a power adapter and why do I need it for commercial LED lights?
Answer: Commercial LED lights have a coaxial connector instead of the normal plug found on string lights which plugs directly into your outlet. So in order to operate or run commercial LED lights from a standard 120 volt power source outlet you would need to purchase a power adapter to attach. Once connected, plug into your standard outlet and enjoy the energy savings!

Question: Do I need more than one power adapter?
Answer: That depends. You need to have a power adapter in every place you are planning to plug in your lights. So if you want to run commercial LED lights in your lobby and a separate set in your dining area, you need two power adapters.

Question: How many lights can I plug into one power adapter?
Answer: The recommended maximum number of LED light bulbs for a single power adapter is roughly 3,000.

Question: How many light sets can I plug into one power adapter?
Answer: Recommended maximum number of 25 count LED commercial light strings is 125
Recommended maximum number of 50 count LED commercial light strings is 62
Recommended maximum number of 100 count LED commercial light strings is 31

Question: How long is the power adapter?
Answer: The power adapter is roughly 2 feet long.

Question: Is the power adapter plug a two or three prong?
Answer: Standard two-pronged polarized Edison style plug.

Question: If the lights are LED but they are not labeled as commercial, do I need a power adapter?
Answer: No. The non-commercial grade LED lights have a standard plug for your outlet.

Question: Is the power adapter available in any other color than green?
Answer: No.
